Sunday, today, I am heading back to the Big Smoke that is Kathmandu. I am taking the tourist bus, the Greenline whose fare includes a buffet lunch and insurance coverage of up to 500,000 NPR. So I'll be taken care of either way I suppose...
Here's a few photos of just before sunset on the lake. The music still rages on all day here as Tihar isn't done… until it's done I suppose. At night these past few evenings the night Queen or white jasmine fills the air with an intoxicating perfume.
I have really enjoyed my stay here at the Sacred Valley Inn. I had a nice chat with the owners today about my research and being that they run multiple restaurants they are keenly interested in seeing agriculture progress to service the restaurants in the area. That may be a ways off but I am also keen to see the same thing.
You've got some prize-winning photos, there. Serene, spectacular. Thanks. Suexo
